Baseball games into the night. . .

Cole's baseball team is in a tournament. Yesterday they had 2 games, one @ 5:00 p.m. and the other @ 8:00 p.m.
When we showed up at 8:30 (Brett was at school until then) they had not even finished the first game. Tied at 6 they had to continue playing until another run came over the plate. Finally around 9 ish and in the 10th inning the first game was over with our kids getting the "W". (I don't feel like we even missed any of the game since all the excitement was while we were there). Then there was a rush on the concession stands with all of us parents buying our players something to eat. Finally around 9:30 p.m. the second game started. We were in for a long night! This game also was tied 1-1 and it went another 10 innings. We did not leave the ball park until just before 1 a.m. What a late night for these boys. That would also be after a late night sleep over the boys had the night before. Crazy! I hope they do well today at yet another game. 12:26 a.m. 12:30 a.m.
Middle of the 10th, just before they won the game with a walk off pass ball.

Maddy and Hunter @ Lagoon

Madison and Hunter had a date at Lagoon last week. We had so much fun spending time with Hunter and Janae. We like riding some of the kiddy rides so it is always good to hook up with the little kids so we don't look to weird standing in line in Kiddieland :)

Maddy and cute little Hunter (I work with Hunter's mommy and Maddy loves to babysit Hunter)
Hunter was so stinking funny. He would ride the rides with his hands up by his chest, he wouldn't touch the rides, I think he may have been concerned with germs?
I so enjoyed riding the train with him. It is so fun to see the the wonderment through a little ones eyes! There is so much for them to learn. Thanks Janae and Hunter for letting us spend time with you and especially for letting us enjoy some of Hunter's "firsts"!

Harry Potter

We have been looking forward to this movie for quite some time. We hit a late night (8:45) movie with my nephew, my sister and brother in law. I love going to the movie with these guys. Usually any big movie opening we hook up with them and go. We loved the movie! It's fun to see how these kids are growing up as well!

It's What Fun Is!

So I am really slow in posting right now. These are from back in June. We bought the kids season passes to Lagoon and so of course that will be were we spend a lot of our time this summer. Maddy and Cambry
Cole on the Cliffhanger
The kids on the Wicked
Wicked

The best part of having a season pass is you can come and go as you please. We only spent a few hours at Lagoon and then headed to the Ball park. This was the first Monday in a long time Brett was home (school for him finally ended) and all he has wanted to do was attend a game.

Maddy LOVES cotton candy
What a great day we had! It was great spending the whole day together with my kids!

We Love the Patty's

This last week we had the privilege of getting together with some good friends the "Patty's". (OK they are really the Patterson's but Brett always calls people by some nick name and the Patty's is what he dubbed them.) They used to live across the street from us and I have to say Kristen was my best friend! They moved away four years ago and sad to say we had lost contact so it was a treat for us to spend time with their family while they were here. Kristen and Jane - apparently Maddy thought a close up was needed
Cute kids - Zach, Brooke, Madison and Brynn (Cole was fishing in Wyoming)
Brooke and Madison at Neilson's -growing up so fast!

We headed down on Sunday evening to have dinner and spend more time with them. Cole had been really bummed that he had missed seeing them and really wanted to see Brooke! This time we had our other neighbors "the Blackwoods" with us. So much fun!
Zach and Maddy
The Clan eating Brynn and Maddy playing
Kristen, Cole and Nate
The Blackwoods - its pretty sad that we have to drive and hour away just to see our next door neighbors! Sarah and Charlie are great to have next door!
Cute kids!

Cole and Brooke- Cole is super excited that he is taller than Brooke. She just graduated from high school but these two used to spend a lot of time together. It is crazy how they are growing up! So once again. . . We Love the Patty's! Thanks Kristen for getting us together I am grateful for our friendship!
