Baseball games into the night. . .

Cole's baseball team is in a tournament. Yesterday they had 2 games, one @ 5:00 p.m. and the other @ 8:00 p.m.

When we showed up at 8:30 (Brett was at school until then) they had not even finished the first game. Tied at 6 they had to continue playing until another run came over the plate. Finally around 9 ish and in the 10th inning the first game was over with our kids getting the "W". (I don't feel like we even missed any of the game since all the excitement was while we were there). Then there was a rush on the concession stands with all of us parents buying our players something to eat. Finally around 9:30 p.m. the second game started. We were in for a long night! This game also was tied 1-1 and it went another 10 innings. We did not leave the ball park until just before 1 a.m. What a late night for these boys. That would also be after a late night sleep over the boys had the night before. Crazy! I hope they do well today at yet another game. 12:26 a.m. 12:30 a.m.
