We found out that Brett's Great-Aunt Mary passed away last night. What a blessing for her she has been in hospice care for at least a year! She was a tough lady and just wasn't ready to give up yet I guess!
It has been years since we have seen her, she moved to Pennsylvania to live closer to her siblings and we have not seen her since. She used to spend months at a time up at Ratcliffe's so we were able to get to know her well! She is originally from Czechoslovakia and had a cute accent. . . she could not say her "R's" which was pretty entertaining! Brett's mom's name is Rose which always came out "Wose" LOL

She made awesome prime rib which I believe she passed the skill onto Brett's dad, which is now a traditional dinner at Christmas time thanks to her! YUMMY!!

One of those blessings, yet still kind of sad. Isn't nice though that you have pictures to remember fun memories with your family with her.
