Not quite sure how Jake feels about our decision but we had him neutered over the weekend. He is pretty old to be having this done but we are hoping it will calm him down. He still acts like a puppy and he is 8 years old. We are not irresponsible pet owners by not having him fixed years ago, who knows he could have been a stud we just choose to never let him figure that part out. But now with the little puppy around we don't want any mishaps! :) 
He was sedated for surgery, so when we brought him home he was so calm. We have NEVER seen him so mellow I was hoping they gave us more medication to keep him like that however they did not!
We had him sleep in our room to keep an eye on him, it was like having an infant again I kept waking up to see if he was breathing ~ Crazy!
Brett and Jake spending some quality time . . . he is always on the run so this opportunity is rare!
We love playing with his ears they are so soft. When we left the animal hospital we were surprised how much energy he had, he must have really wanted to get out of there. He was taking Brett on a walk :)
Brett loves his dog even though he is out of control! Hopefully this will settle him down a little. The boys have to wait for him to heal before they can go out hunting again.
